Only use a genuine company such as ValuedOpinions because there are many fraudulent ones out there.

Earn money at home with dog day care

Day care for dogs is a rewarding way to earn money at home.

For the owners, day care for dogs has the benefit of allowing their dogs to interact with other dogs (unlike kennels) and if you have sufficient secured garden space then the dogs can also run freely in the outdoors.

The owners will drop their dog off to you in the morning and collect them again in the evening. During the day time you will need to provide a safe and stimulating environment for the dogs.

What you need to consider- What hours will you stay open? Will you work weekends and holidays? How many dogs will you take in any one day? How much are you going to charge per day?!

Will you offer any other services such as dog training? Grooming? or what about pet photography? If you don’t have an outside area then you need a suitable amount of space indoors set aside just for the dogs. The flooring will need to be of a type that can be cleaned and disinfected. You will also need to provide some sofas, cushions or blankets for the dogs to sleep on as well as water, meals and toys.

Think about security. What measures will you need to put into place? As a tip-Double gates will add double security. After all you don’t want any of the dogs to leave before their owners come to pick them up.

After you have drawn up your business plan then it’s time to start promoting your dog day care and then you can start to welcome your four legged customers.

Earn money renting out space at home

Do you have a spare room, apartment, boat or even a castle that you want to rent out? Apart from earning an extra income, renting out space to travellers is a great way to meet new people from around the globe.

The website Airbnb lets you list your room or space for free, collecting only a small percentage of the actual reservation. Search through Airbnb and see what is on offer. Last time I checked there was a colourful gypsy caravan for rent. If you have sufficient outside space then you may want to invest in something similar, or even come up with something totally unique that you can rent out?

Check out the photograph below which is of a cabin in Formosan Koa forest in Hawaii. Through Airbnb this cabin can be rented. Has this given you any ideas?
Or what about this 1 SQM sleeping box which
is located in Prenzlauer Berg, Germany ! Again its featured on Airbnb

Use Pinterest for effective blogging

Pinterest is a great tool which will help you to build links and bring more visitors to your blog.  Pinterest is an image sharing website which was launched in 2010 and its service allows members to share images and videos simply by pinning them onto their own digital bulletin boards.  Boards can be categorised accordingly. For example, films, books, art, beauty and fashion.

Pinterest can help you to bring visitors to your blog because each time someone from Pinterest repins one of the images which has come from your blog, this means another link and more exposure for your blog.

With Pinterest you have the unique opportunity to create different boards; each one can be targeted to a different audience.   When creating your boards, remember not only to pin images from your own blog but to include interesting content from other websites as well.  This makes your pins much more credible and they will bet clicked on more. Make your boards interesting and fun as well as directing visitors and traffic to your blog.

To use Pinterest effectively, it is also important to write a pin description - If you can write something engaging then this will encourage people to read more and click on the image.  Pinterest lets you write up to 500 characters in your pin description.

Pinterest is all about images so make sure that your blog has a photograph in each post at least. Track your traffic from Pinterest using your preferred tracking tool or JetPack or Google analytics.
Check my own Pinterest boards and sign up to create your own. With Pinterest you can follow any boards or people that you like...

Make money with your own online store

Today let’s have a look at how to make money from the web by setting up your own online store. One option is to develop and manage your own online store with an e commerce shopping cart from Yahoo. Basically e commerce websites are solutions for people who want to sell online but who don’t have their own website.E commerce websites allow you to sell online by providing everything that you need to create your very own online store.

Before setting up your very own e commerce store, you need to decide on what you are going to sell. Will the products be items that you have made yourself or products that you have purchased from wholesalers? What will make your online store or product different to what is already on offer by your competitors? Is there a high demand for your products?

Will you target a specific market? For example will you sell specifically to students, travellers or families? You need to create a professional image for your products and this includes a store name. Where will you get the products that you will sell? Once you know what you want to sell, then it’s time to find suitable providers. Can you buy what you want direct from a manufacturer or will you need to find a distributor or importer if the products are made overseas. Start by contacting as many manufacturers and distributors as you can and see who is willing to sell to you and at what cost.

Once you have the products then it’s time to start setting up your e commerce turnkey website. A turnkey solution, such as the shopping cart from Yahoo which we are looking at here is basically a complete package that you can develop and manage yourself.

Now that you have decided on the products and have started the process of setting up your e commerce store then here are a few important things that you need to think about;

Who will take the photographs of the products that you will sell online? Will you write your own copy or will you employ someone to do this for you? Don’t just copy and paste what the manufacturer has given to you because there will be a great many other sellers that have done exactly the same and without unique copy on your website store, the search engines won’t pick up on your site and it won’t rank as high as you will want it to in the search engine results.

Where will you store the products that you will sell online? Do you have garage or ample space in your own home? How will you deliver the products which have been ordered online? Will you charge a separate postage fee or will this be included in the price of the products? What about orders which come from overseas? Will you charge a supplement for overseas delivery? How will you manage any returns or complaints? For all of these issues, you need to have clear and concise guidelines.

Once your e commerce store is up and running, you need to get customers. To get visitors to your website, you will need to spend a considerable amount of time marketing your store and getting traffic. The first hurdle is to sell a product that people want to buy. Secondly read up on what search engines want and set your site up to optimise search engine results. Social media is a good way to get traffic to your store, as is search engine optimisation and offline promotions.

Once your e commerce store is up and running, it is important to track and measure the performance of your store. This allows you to spot where there are any shortfalls and make any relevant changes /improvements. Google Analytics is one piece of software that allows you measure your advertising ROI (Return on investment) as well as tracking your and social networking websites and applications.
